We are thrilled to be a part of this community of 11 physicians, 3 teachers, 1 engineer, 1 nurse, moms and dads, and 21 children committed to living and serving together in Burundi.  Our goal is:

To glorify God as a community who strives to advance medicine, education and discipleship for the underserved of Burundi and beyond.

JH Fader

Jason is a general surgeon and Heather is a Spanish teacher with a Masters degree and is the missionary school principal at Kibuye Hope Academy.  Their three girls are Anna, Abi, and Keza.

CK Fader

Caleb (Jason's brother) is an engineer and Krista is a nurse, and they have three adventurous boys, Liam, Gavin, and Jono.

Wendler

Carlan is an Emergency physician from California, married to Michelle, a concert pianist, and they have two beautiful kids, Gabrielle and Isaiah.

John

Ted is a general surgeon, and Eunice is a teacher, and they have three boys, Toby, Amos, and Timothy.

Harling

The Harlings joined the team in 2019. Jenn is a pediatrician, and Michael is a general surgeon. They have three children, Amelia, Madelyn, and Mark.

Ause

Erica is an elementary school teacher from Michigan.

Sorondo

Jenny is an early elementary teacher from Miami.

Guy

Glory is a middle school teacher from Tennessee.

Roose

Ben is a general surgeon who arrived in 2021 through the Samaritan’s Purse Post Residency Program.

Thomas

Selina is a family physician who arrived in 2022 through the Samaritan’s Purse Post Residency Progam.
